This article provides a new reading and supplement for Sapph. fr. 96,18 N., with a new exegesis of the whole strophe (vv. 18-20), a hypothesis on the division of the fragment into two poems after v. 20 and some thoughts on the relationship with the ‘Newest Sappho’ fragments (especially frr. 16 and 16A N.).
