The aim of this paper is to demonstrate that Com. adesp. fr. 1060 K.-A., preserved on the lower part of the second column of P. Stras. inv. W.G. 307v, is not a comic adespoton, as Alfred Knox suggested in 1929. Three lines of this very fragmentary text overlap with three iambic trimeters quoted by Athenaeus of Naucratis (XIV 659c) from Poseidippus’ Apokleiomene (fr. 2 K.-A.).
