The article, in its first part, analyses the excerpts of Pollux contained in cod. Par. gr. 1630 (14th century), written by the monk Charito, with particular attention to their role in reconstructing the text of the Onomasticon. In the second part, a new edition of Pollux V 86-93 is proposed, based on a broader recensio than that of Bethe and applying new editorial criteria, in which exc. 2 of the Parisinus is specifically considered.
